We did the Annapurna Circuit with Nepal Alternative Treks. It was our first time travelling in Nepal, so we were very cautious in selecting the agent – and we are glad that we found Nepal Alternative Treks. The agency has provided to us a guide and a porter, arranged the permits and a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Tej Gurung, the Managing Director of the agency, was very prompt and informative in communication prior to our arrival to Kathmandu, and also flexible in meeting our requirements to arranging the trip. Kumar, the guide, and Jeilal, the porter, were friendly and reliable. Tej also has a hotel in Thamel, at which we stayed on our way back – the hotel is nice, green, and is a good value for money. Tej is extremely welcoming, he does make you feel at ease and secure.
We recommend the Nepal Alternative Treks to everybody travelling to Nepal. The agency and Tej himself are reliable and trustworthy. We will certainly choose Nepal Alternative Treks for our future travels in Nepal.
