One of the best travel experiences of our lives
We did the 5 day Everest View Trek right at the end of the season in late November 2024.
My husband and I are in our late 50s and were concerned about our ability to complete the trek although we’d done others like Machu Picchu and Bwindi. Tej was incredible in answering all my questions and reassuring us that we could do it.
I’m not going to say it was easy but it was manageable and ultimately it was one of the best travel experiences of our lives!
The views were incredible from our lodge at Namche Bazaar and at the Everest View Point. The last day was harder than expected and it was dark when we arrived back in Lukla but what an experience!
We’ve travelled across 6 continents to 39 amazing countries and have had some incredible travel experiences but this trip is right at the top of our favourites list. It challenged us but taught us so much that enriched our lives.
We will always remember this trip and are so grateful to Tej, our guide Saroj and our porter Nimah for being so kind and patient with us and giving us a travel experience we will never forget.
