Nepal Alternative Treks organized a 5 day trek for us on the Everest Base Camp trail. They were fantastic. Many trekking companies only had packages with fixed day limits which can be tricky when dealing with time constraints which we had. The owner, Tej Gurung, is very hands on and was able to personalize the trek for our wants and time limits. He met us on arrival and when we returned to Kathmandu to prep us for the trip and then receive feedback. Nepal had very bad weather the days before we arrived and when we reached out to him over the weekend to discuss alternatives, he was responsive, really quick in providing options with pros and cons, and helped us make decisions in phone conversations. Prices were transparent and very reasonable. Would highly recommend Tej and his team for anyone who wants a spectacular experience. They can customize anything from a few days in the mountains to the full Everest Base camp experience.
