We contacted Tej Gurung before the earthquake and fixed the dates for our trek. After the earthquake we were concerned as the trail was closed due to landslides. Tej was very reassuring and we continued with our plans. Tej then contacted us a few weeks before our departure to tell us that the circuit was open again. His communications were excellent from our first contact. All the arrangements went smoothly and we had a wonderful trek with guide Nauser and porter Ramus. The scenery was spectacular; the guest houses appeared to be the best on offer and Nauser could not have been more attentive, concerned and helpful. He and Ramus were always cheerful and happy! We would definitely recommend Nepal Alternative Treks and Expeditions.
