The trek starts with a drive to Sundarijal from Kathmandu. You can visit the Boudhanath Stupa on your way to Sundarijal if you wish. Once you arrive at Sundarijal, you start the trek with the rocky route from Shivapuri National Park. Enjoying the watershed area, you leave the national park and head to Chisapani via the lush rhododendron forest. From Chisapani, you continue the trek into the Helambu valley as you walk past the meadows of Gul Bhanjyang and Kutumsang. You then head to Tharepati and take the left route to Ghopte. Early start next morning to cross Lauribinaya pass at the height of 4700m then reach Hindu sacred frozen Lake -Gosaikunda.

Joining Gosaikunda trek route, you will be heading steep down crossing small settlement Lauribina  and reach Thulo syabru which joins Langtang valley trail. The trail continues down to due east and reach Pairo and Bamboo. You will follow the Langtang River and reach Lama Hotel. Then, the trail heads north as you enter the deep parts of the Langtang National Park. Next, the trek takes you past Ghoda Tabela and settles at the Langtang Village.

Then, the next destination on the trek is Kyanjin Gompa. It is one of the oldest monasteries in the valley and houses numerous artifacts and monuments dedicated to Tibetan heritage. As you explore around the village, you also hike to the nearby Tserko Ri (4984m) peak. The top offers a panorama of the Langtang, Phurbi Ghyachu, and Rolwaling ranges. Next, you get on the return trip to Lama Hotel. On the way, you trek past several Tamang villages. Finally, the last part of the trail takes you to Syabru before getting the ride back to Kathmandu.

Helambu

Helambu is popular among the trekkers for its scenic grandeur, pleasant & favorable climate, located about 72 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu, is extending from north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal. There we meet several highland Tamang and Sherpa villages, scattered on both sides of the Melamchi Khola.

It covers the various range of brilliant green valleys, foggy rhododendron forests, and distant horizons of snowy peaks and the vivid contrast of Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist cultures. Here you will experience the yolmo culture of high mountains villages, marvel at vistas of lonely high mountains and watch enchanted as the farmers toil in the fields using handmade tools and teams of water buffalo. Helambu valley trek noted for its scenic grandeur and pleasant climate. In Helambu, one can stay in highland monastery villages and small settlements in pristine forests. The Sherpa village’s of Helambu focuses the charming cooperative of farmers and yak herders.

Gosaindkunda

Gosaikunda lies north of Kathmandu and is third most popular trek of Nepal. It combines the high mountain lakes at Gosainkund ( Frozen lakes) and the spectacular valley of Langtang .You will have a wonderful view of Langtang range, Ganesh himal and Dorje Lakpa. Crossing the Lauribenayak Pass (4610m./15213 ft.), there we are rewarded with the stunning views of the Manaslu, Ganesh Himal & even as far as the Annapurna massif.

Overall, This area offer crossing passes, Superb mountain view, a beautiful Holy lake like Gosainkunda, a picturesque Sherpa village, impressive display of wild flower, an abundance of wild life, Monasteries and of course friendly local people and their culture.

Langtang

Langtang is known as” Tamang land”. This area is rich of Tibetan culture, typical way of their living, and Buddhist Monastery, Chorten, Mani wall and prayer wheel.This was once an important trading route with Tibet, so that most of the villagers and peoples are involved in trade.

On the way of journey, you will walk through Langtang National Park. Although wildlife is never easy to spot in a forest setting, there we get the chances of seeing some interesting animals and birds. Among those found in the park are monkeys, musk deer, Peacock and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful danphe. At Langtang village, we continue to Kyangjin Gompa (3,740 m), which is the site of the Yak Cheese Factory. There is a STOL airstrip at Chhaldang, a short distance east of Kyangjin

After an early breakfast, you head east of Kathmandu valley and drive towards Sundarijal. En route, you come across Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can do a quick tour of the place if you want. Once you arrive at Sundarijal, you go straight uphill via a rocky route. The route goes through the Shivapuri National Park. Enjoying the watershed of Bagmati River, you arrive at Mulkharka. From here, the route goes down to a gorge, and you arrive at Chisapani after crossing the rhododendron and oak forest. Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 2

Trek to Kutumsang

After an early breakfast, you head to the trail that’ll lead you to Kutumsang. The route today goes through various ridges. Walking through the forest, you arrive at Pathi Bhanjyang. From here onwards, the route goes through green meadows till Gul Bhanjyang. The route then goes through another ridge and a pass. Then, you arrive at the lush meadows of Kutumsang. You find a suitable spot for camping and stay overnight.

Trek to Tharepati

After cleaning up and having breakfast, you resume the trek. The route goes through Yurin Danda Ridge, and you get to see spectacular views of the Langtang and the neighboring mountains. The route ascends into the rhododendron and pine forest. The route again descends as you approach Magengoth, which is the first settlement you see in the route. From here, the route again ascends through the forest, and you reach Tharepati for an overnight stay.

Early morning, we start to climb up to Laurinbina la pass (4700m.) and heading down to Gosainkunda lake. There are no lodge between Phedi and Gosainkunda . So, we need to be prepared some pack lunch and enough drinking water. Explore sacred holy lake Gosainkunda and other lakes around then stay overnight at Gosainkunda.

Trek to Lama Hotel

The trail ascends to Lama Hotel. The trail descends in the beginning along the ridge on Syabru’s main street and then drop to the Ghopche Khola and again descends to the Landslide. Afterwards, your trek ascends gently to Rimche walking through bamboo forest and water fall then you reaches to the Lama Hotel. En route you will see red pandas, monkey and bear if you are lucky. Stay overnight in Lama hotel.

After breakfast in Lama Hotel, we will trek to Langtang village today. We start the trek with a slightly steep route, which gradually becomes steeper and tougher. The trail heads through the dense forests as the beautiful view of the Langtang range starts appearing in front of us. We then trek through meadows and cross several bridges to reach Langtang village. We can see the blend of Tibetan and Nepali culture in this village. Overnight in Langtang.

Trek to Kyanjin

Today, we will be trekking to the most important places in the Langtang region – Kyanjin. After breakfast in Langtang Village, we will trek through a small village with stone walls and prayer flags as we ascend the gentle steep up to Kyanjin. Passing Mundu on the way, we will walk to Kyanjin. We get enough time to roam around the village after reaching there. Overnight in Kyanjin.

Day 10

Explore around

We allocate a full day to explore the Kyanjin village and Langtang area. In Kyanjin, we explore the nearby Kyanjin Gompa. You can hike to the nearby Tserko Ri (4884m) and enjoy the beautiful view of the valley, including the mountains that surround the valley like Mt. Langtang (7227m) and its ranges. You can also interact with the locals and understand their lifestyle. Also, you can also hike to Langshisha Kharka and visit the local cheese factory. Overnight in Kyanjin.

Trek to Lama Hotel

After breakfast, we start our journey towards the Lama Hotel. Then, we retrace the same route we trekked before. Today’s trek is relatively easier than the earlier days. We trek down through the rhododendron forests, enjoying the beautiful scenes. We come across small Tamang settlements as we descend to Lama Hotel. On the way, we can stop at various places and take photographs before reaching Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Trek to safru Besi

On the last day of our trek, we will leave behind the beautiful Langtang region and trek down to Syabrubensi. After breakfast, we start the trek with descent and trek down through the dense forests enjoying the views of Langtang range. We descend to Sherpa Gaon and then continue to trek to Syabrubensi. We will drive back to Kathmandu from Syabrubensi the next day. Overnight in Syafrubensi.

After breakfast, we head towards the bus stop to board the bus to Kathmandu. We drive back to Trishuli Highway through the terraced fields and small settlements. After a while, we will drive along the Trishuli River with a beautiful view of green hills. A drive of about 6 hours brings us to Kathmandu. You will be transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Best time to visit

The best time to visit Helambu, Gosaikunda, and Langtang for Trekking is during the spring and autumn seasons. At this time of the year, the temperature of Nepal is moderate. Similarly, the weather and climate are also stable and suitable. If you decide to travel here during this time, then you will be able to travel in a clear sky. Similarly, you will be able to get a panoramic view of mountains like Langtang Ri, Langshisha, and Ganesh Himal, including others. So, make sure you plan your trek during this time.

The difficulty of this trek

During this trek, you will trek through some of the difficult trekking routes of Nepal. Furthermore, this combination of the trek is very long. So, it might get very hard for new trekkers with very little. In addition, when you travel through high altitudes then there is always a danger of high altitude sickness. Besides, this sickness is common among high-altitude trekkers. This trek can be difficult for a rookie trekker because of its landscape and its location. So, firstly try trekking some small peaks then come here. But, if you decide to trek here despite your lack of experience then we highly recommend you hire a guide. Likewise, this trek is long so make sure that your body is ready for this challenge.

Travel Insurance

We don’t provide you with personal insurance. you should have your insurance with you. So, you make sure that your insurance company has covered all your trekking-related facilities. Including all medical expenses, repatriation expenses, rescue mission, loss of property. Likewise, make sure that your insurance is not expired.
In addition, make sure that your insurance company has ticked all your trekking-related policies such as rescue missions, medical expenses, loss of personal equipment.

Meals and Accommodation

We provide you with quality service during your trek with us. Similarly, we provide lodge twin share basis accommodation during the trekking. all meals breakfast, lunch, dinner during the trek. So, you don’t have to worry about Meals and Accommodation. But we don’t provide hotel accommodation and meals in Kathmandu. And, all kinds of hard and soft table drinks such as tea/coffee, mineral water, Coke, Fanta, alcoholic drinks, hot shower, laundry, phone bill, bar bill, hot water, etc are not provided. But, it can be adjusted according to our consumers’ wishes.

Fitness and experience requirements

Helambu, Gosaikunda, and Langtang Trekking is a very long trek; this trek lasts for 13 days. So, this trek cannot be done by physically ill people. You should not have any health-related problems. This trek is a combination of three trekking routes. So, you must have good stamina. And, the attitude to never give up. Similarly, first, make sure you have some experience climbing some small peaks. Then it will be easy for you to complete this trek. But despite all that, if you decide to do it then we recommend you hire a guide.

Climate and weather

The climate and weather of this trek are mostly moderate throughout the year. But the best time to visit this place is during the spring and autumn season. But, this trekking is done at high altitudes. So, it is a little cold. The normal temperature in this place is about 11 degrees Celsius. But if you travel here during this time of the year then you will be able to catch a panoramic view of Langtang Ri, Langshisha, and Ganesh Himal, including others.

Required Permits

Langtang National Park fee : NPR. 3000 for foreigners and NPR 1500 for SAARC.

Shivapuri National Park fee : NPR 1000 for foreigners and NPR 600 for SAARC.
