Best Time to Trek Nagi Village
The best time to trek to the Nagi Village is during Pre-monsoon (Spring) and Post-monsoon (August). These seasons offer the most favorable weather conditions for trekking. In Spring, from March to May, the weather is mild, and the rhododendrons flower blooms. The clear skies provide excellent visibility of the beautiful mountain peaks. Autumn, from September to November, is another excellent time of the year. The crips air offers the clear views of the surrounding mountains. The moderate temperature makes your trekking comfortable.
The monsoon season from June to August is not recommended for trekking. During this time, the region experiences heavy rainfall, causing landslides. Similarly, clouds cover the snow-capped mountains. Additionally, Winter, from December to February, is also not a good season to travel. The heavy snowfall makes your trail difficult, creating slippery, steep slopes. Therefore, for safe travel with stunning views of the surroundings, we suggest you trek during Autumn and Spring.
