My partner and I wanted a flexible and customised Three Passes Trek in March 2024 and after contacting several agencies we decided to go with Tej and his company, Nepal Alternative Treks.
This decision was made as a direct result of Tej’s commitment to superior customer service. Unlike other trekking agencies I have dealt with, Tej is more than aware of the importance of a good customer experience.
Small but significant services he offers such as the free airport transfers, fruits on the treks, certificates on completion are all extras he’s added to improve the customer experience.
In addition, he strives to improve on the service his company provides through the help of customer feedback post-trek.
As for the trek itself, our requirements for accommodation and guide were able to be accommodated without issue. There was an understanding that each customer had unique preferences.
Our guide Andrea was excellent and customised our itinerary on the fly as needed. With each change, she took on the challenge gamely and gathered any additional information needed. She had a genuine connection with staff of many of the lodges we stayed at. Their attentiveness and warm greetings was a clear reflection of the positive relationships she had built. This all added to a comfortable stay at many of the lodges.
We are grateful to Tej and Andrea for a great experience in the Himalayas and would happily choose them again the next time we visit
