Nepal Alternative Social Charity Fund
In return to the magnificent opportunities they provide us, we also do our best to portray our responsibility on society, its people, norms, and the surrounding nature. As a part of our programs to improve the social construct of remote parts of the country, we carry out various programs regularly.
Awareness programs and health camps, along with women empowerment seminars and activities are just the top of the bunch. Similarly, we also distribute educational materials to students and conduct other educational campaigns as well. Moreover, we also teach the locals to preserve their heritage and protect the status of the natural resources around their communities. All of these activities are carried out with a certain percentage of our earnings from the trips that we conduct. As we seek to expand our market and customer base, we also look forward to sharing our spoils too many other rural and remote areas across Nepal.
Year of 2015
In the year of 2015, Nepal was hit by devastating earthquake. People were thrown outside and their home became a death trap. Just within a minute they became homeless and foodless. More than eight thousand people lost their lives, some lucky folks survived and hundred thousand of people injured from this mega earthquake. We, Nepal Alternative Treks put efforts to reach them with relief materials to keep live hopes. It was a pack of little things as tarps, salts, paper, rice, soaps and cloths etc but we learned it was most needed at the moment.
