Everest View Trek Overview
The Everest View Trek is a short trek in the Khumbu region for travelers who want to see Mount Everest without walking all the way to Everest Base Camp. The trek takes 5 days and includes Lukla, Phakding, Namche Bazaar, the Everest View Hotel, Khumjung, and Khunde.
After flying from Kathmandu to Lukla, the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River toward Namche Bazaar. From Namche, you hike to the Everest View Hotel for views of Everest and other peaks in the Khumbu. The route also gives you time to visit Sherpa villages and experience local life before returning to Lukla.
This trek is a practical option if you have limited time but still want to experience trekking in the Everest region.
Why this is better: It immediately answers what the trek is, how long it takes, what route it follows, and who it is suitable for. The current overview covers the route but spends more space on general descriptions.
