The trek starts from Pokhara, you drive further to Ghandruk, one of the main settlement areas of the Gurung community. In Ghandruk, you get the chance to explore the Gurung culture as you visit the Gurung museum and interact with the friendly local people. Their warm hospitality makes your stay more pleasant.

From Ghandruk, you trek into the rhododendron forest and stay overnight at Tadapani. Then, your next destination is Ghorepani, another Gurung village. From Ghorepani, the trail takes you to the famous Poon Hill (3210m). This view station is the best place to see the panorama of the Annapurna range. With the first sun rays striking the mountains, the view is an unforgettable moment.

After basking in the beauty of the mountains, you descend to Ulleri and then drive back to Pokhara. This trek is best to do with your family as it is easy and fun. Also, comparatively shorter than other trekking routes in the region, this trek will offer a chance to spend some good quality time with your loved ones.

Day 1

Drive to Ghandruk – Trek to Tadapani

After an early breakfast, you drive to Nayapul. En route, you get to see the stunning views of Pokhara Valley. At Nayapul, you rest for a while and have some snacks and tea. Then, the drive continues, and you arrive at Ghandruk. You explore the serene Gurung village and have lunch there. After lunch, you start your trek and hit the trail. You walk through the rhododendron forest, enjoying the magnificent views of Machhapuchhre. After trekking for about 4 hours from Ghandruk, you arrive at Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani.

Trek to Ghorepani

After breakfast, you resume the trek. You begin the walk going downhill to the stream with a a wooden brdige. Then you will climb up through the rhododendron forest to Banthanti. YOu will ascend through small water fountation, waterfall and beautiful jungle walk until you reach Deurali. At Deurali, you have lunch and continue the trek, climbing up to the oak forest. You will walk downhill following the forest, you arrive at Ghorepani. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Trek to Ulleri - Drive to Pokhara

Today, you wake up around 5  a.m. and get ready to hike up to Poon Hill. The route is short. Once you reach the view station, the breathtaking panorama of the mountains including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, and many more will amaze you. The sunrise over the snow-clad mountains is a view that you’ll remember for the rest of your life. After enjoying the view, you head back to Ghorepani, have breakfast, and descend to Ulleri via the stone steps. From Ulleri, you then drive back to Pokhara by jeep.

Best time to visit

This circuit trek is a trekking route made by using two trekking routes. Therefore, if you choose the right time to visit this trek then the time during the spring and autumn season are the best.  During this time of the year the climate, temperature, and weather are stable and suitable in Nepal. Besides, if you travel here during this time of the year you will fully enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. Likewise, at this time, you will also get a Panoramic view of the Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri ranges. Therefore, if you travel here during this time then it can double your fun and experience. However, this trek also can be done during the monsoon season. During the monsoon season, the trail is also uncrowded.

The difficulty of this trek

This trek is long. So, it can be a little hard for rookies or new trekkers. The trek is of moderate difficulty. Similarly, this is a circuit trek combined with Ghandruk and Ghorepani.  It gets hard to even for experienced trekkers. It is difficult because you have to travel at high altitudes where you might suffer from altitude sickness. Similarly, the trails are also difficult. So, make sure you are prepared for that.  So, make sure you are fully prepared for this trek. Also, have every piece of equipment with you.

Travel insurance

You must have your travel insurance with you. Without it, it is very difficult for us to cooperate with you and you might not be able to do this circuit trek. Because it is very important while trekking at the higher altitudes. Similarly, it has a lot of benefits. It helps you if you have any injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, rescue mission, loss of property, etc. so, make sure you check it properly.

At this circuit Trekking. We don’t provide any kind of soft or hard drink. Similarly, we also provide food in sufficient quantities. In addition, the lodges we provide are very secure and comfortable too. Likewise, we also make adjustments to these things according to our consumer’s wishes. So, you will be able to get the best facility there is. Likewise, the Meals and Accommodation we provide here to our consumers are of top quality. Similarly, we provide Lodge with twin share basis accommodation during the trekking. Here you can enjoy your stay and have quality Nepali and western food. But, Nepali food is cheaper than Western foods.

Fitness and experience requirements

This circuit trekking is done at a very high altitude. Likewise, we all know walking at a high altitude is physically challenging. However, if you have excellent health with average physical condition with a positive attitude you can easily complete this trek. Other than that, be careful that you don’t have any health problems. In addition, you should walk at your own pace enjoying the view.

Climate and weather

The climate and weather of Nepal are different from place to place. Similarly, it’s normally hot during the summer and cold during the winter.  But, you will find a moderate climate here throughout the year. Likewise, just avoid rainy seasons for the trek. However, you will find a suitable climate for the trek during the spring and autumn seasons. If you decide to do trekking here during this time of the year then you will be able to travel with clear visibility and you can enjoy your time here. However, it is open throughout the year. Annually, a lot of trekkers come to enjoy their free time here. But, it is safer if you do it during the on seasons.
