Overview
The quickest approach to Paldor Peak Climbing with Ruby Valley Trek is from Sabru near Dunche in the Trisuli valley which can be reached in a 6 to 8 hours drive from Kathmandu. From here the trail crosses the Langtang Khola to Sabrubesi. After crossing the Bhote Kosi river the route leads via Tamang villages of Tangjet and Gatlang, then heads northwards along the ridge before dropping into the forest above Mailung Khola to pick up the newly built road that leads to an army post. The moraine filled valley below Paldor is eached from here.
We end the trekking through another part of Ganesh himal which is well known for Ruby Valley trekking. It offers the client meetings with typical real Nepalese people which also could be called an educational or cultural tour. You will stay near local people’s houses where you find their familiar environment, so that you will see Nepalese people’s real lifestyle. You will have face to face interaction with them.

Early Morning, we drive to safrubensi through the gateway to the Ruby Valley and Langtang Valley at the confluence of the Bhote Kosi and Langtang Rivers. Mesmerizing scenic driving and passing through Trisuli Bazaar and small settlements make you scenic driving. Narrow and bit adventurous zig zags road but amazing landscape along the way driving will take your to reach Safrubensi. Stay overnight at lodge.

We begin our trip with a dirt track zig-zags to the west up to Bahun Danda Pass and then down to the Tamang settlement of Gatlang, a cornerstone village on the Tamang Heritage Trail or hike to Gatlang by way of Chawatar. Gatlang is a Tamang village with unique customs and craftsmanship in a magnificent setting. Just above the villes lies Parvati Kund, popular during Janai Purnimaa when thousands of pilgrims are attracted to the sacred pond and nearby temple. Stay overnight at community lodge.

After breakfast, We ascend through pine and rhododendron forest to a lunch point of Yuri Kharka before continuing to Khurphu Bhanjyang and then dropping down to the Somdang River, border between Rasuwaa and Dhading districts.
A sprawling mining compound, no longer functioning but it seems locals appealing government to revive it, lies a few hours to the north upriver. The hike passes through a scenic valley featuring the 200 m Chukarma Waterfall. The former mine leaves a lot be explored and is the site of a 1.4 km tunnel bored into the mountain to extract zinc, copper, tin, crystal and even highly-prized rubies. Stay overnight at lodge.

We begin early to Pangsang pass descend to Tipling village. The view from pangsang is incredible. For the Sunrise view, you have to climb around at 5 am in the morning (hill) 1 hour to the top. The Hidden valley of Ankhu, Trishuli with coulorful rhododendron flowers, Mountain views are recommended all around from the top. Langtang lirung, Dhorjelakpa, Sangden himal, Gosain kunda and range east and west Annapurna, Manaslu and the front view of Ganesh himal very beautiful. After nice view and small snack, we gradually down to Tipling. Stay overnight there at tent.

Trek to Chalish village. First walking is steep down hill to Ada khola and easy walk to Chalish village. It is a small beautiful Gurung village Chalish. There are poor government school, temple and barn near by village. The main occupations of the people are farming. The scenic beauties you can glance are of green hills, terraces and villages at close distance. You will have magnificent view of Ganesh himal range and Paldor peak from this village. Stay overnight at tent.

After breakfast, the trail lead us to Sertung village. We will get jeep from there then drive through Lishne jungle, Jharlang village ( Percho), Kimthang phedi and finally arrives dhading besi. You will join black top road towards Kathmandu.

The difficulty of this trek
This trek is one of the hardest treks of Nepal. Most importantly, during this trek, you have to climb up to 5903m. So, it is very obvious that this is going to be tough for new trekkers. During this trek, you can face the problem of altitude sickness, but it is very common among trekkers. Furthermore, the landscape of the place also adds to its difficulty.
Travel insurance
Your travel insurance covers your injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, rescue mission, loss of property, etc. Most importantly, check with your insurance company that your adventure and trekking above 4000m are covered. If you haven’t taken any insurance policy, then it would be difficult for us to operate your rescue mission. Therefore, you have to have your insurance policy with you. It is compulsory during such a high trek.
Meals and Accommodation
The meals and accommodation are also top class. Where you can enjoy your stay and have quality Nepali and western food. But, we don’t provide any kind of soft or hard drink. Similarly, we provide you with a lodge with twin share basis accommodation during the trekking. Similarly, all meals include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner during trekking.
Fitness and experience requirement
This trek is done at a very high altitude. So, your health must be perfect. However, if you have excellent health with average physical condition with a positive attitude and self-control you can complete this trek. Additionally, you should not have any health problems like asthma. Similarly, you should have no heart, Lungs, or blood diseases. Furthermore, this is a long trek that will push your body to its limit so be prepared for that. Furthermore, you should at least have experience of climbing small peaks first.
Climate and weather
The climate and weather of this place are mostly moderate throughout the year. So, you can do this trek all year. But, the best experience that you can get from this trekking is during the spring and autumn season. During this time of the year, the climate is moderately stable and suitable.
