The trek was really interesting-differently new experience! We enjoyed it very much even passing the two passes was not too hard. Our porter- Naress did  a really good job. It was his first trek but he looked very good after us. Out guide singbir was good fun most of the time. He was singing every time.

Trekked Manaslu Circuit Trek With Cousin Brother

I have trekked Manaslu circuit trek from 23 April to 6 th May with my cousin brother. From the arrival to departure everything was neatly arranged and well organised by Mr Tez Gurung and his staff.Through out the trek guide was very cordial and cooperative.I have no hesitation to recommend their name for any trekking programme in Nepal. Their rate i found very reasonable and justified.I... hope we will do some other treks very soon in Nepal with Nepal alternative Trek...All the best.

Oct 2022 • Solo What a great experience treking through the himalayas with the guide. He knew the best paths, tea houses and had great advice. This company is amazing, after speaking with many people i met on the trek I had definitely paid the cheapest compared to other company's they had booked with. I got recommended by a friend and was a little worried at first to go with a Nepalese company rather than a English based company but I'm so glad I did. They collected me from the airport even 5 days before my trek and made sure I was comfortable where I was staying. They also transfered my spare bag to a hotel I was staying in Pakhora at while I was on the trek.

Excellent Service & Hospitality!

I travelled from US together with a group of friends from India for this trek - the age mix was between 12 to 63 years - and all of us were able to complete the trek successfully. We received expert guides (Pemba ji, Nauser, Tek), amazing hospitality throughout our stay in Nepal and very gracious hosts Gurung ji & his wife! It made our stay in Nepal super comfortable and worth it. The celebratory dinner arranged by Gurung ji in the end just added the cherry on the top!

Perfect Upper Mustang Trek

We trekked in Upper Mustang for 17 days and it was just amazing. Tej organised the tour very spontanously for us - big THANKS! We also adjusted the days as we wanted to do shorter distances per day and it worked out really good! We would recommend it to do slower than most agencys offer as you experience the region much better! Our staff (guide plus 3 porters) were really nice and helpful and our Guide Nauser also spoke really good english. Another thing to point out: we didn't trek on or near the road (only if there really was no other option) but always took alternativ paths, that led us to astonishing viewpoints and landscapes.

Annapurna Circuit with Alternative treks’s guide ( Tek Gurung)

Second trip to Nepal since 2015, this time only me and my husband. 30 days in the Annapurna's region including the circuit with side treks to the Ice lake, Tilicho lake, Kopra ridge and we didn't get 'bored' of our guide. Booked online we didn't know what to expect at first and we were rather suspicious of having someone with us for more than a month. Meet the guide/cum porter Tek at the head office in Kathmandu and hit the road to Besisahar the second morning. From here onwards its been all a fulfilled dream and Tek had his role to play. Great knowledge of all the routes and local customs, of great help in awkward situations and a cheerful companion. Would definitely recommend!

I went to experience Nepal to delve in the beauty of their mountains and to be immersed in their culture. The team of Tej (with Ritu and Tek) made this possible.
