My Amazing Everest Trip With Puru
Our experience with My Everest Trip was amazing, Puru helped us during our entire trip and even checked up on us as we were travelling without his company. By the time we finished our month in Nepal we felt like we were very good friends with Puru and everyone involved. If you're going to trek or even just travel in Nepal I highly recommend My Everest Trip!Jon Doe & Team

Wonderful experience in Upper Mustang and Chitwan
How nice to met Tej! We found a warm welcome and helpfulness! As soon as my boyfriend and I arrived in Nepal, he greeted us with beautiful flower garlands. We got to know each other in front of a Nepali tea and Tej managed to understand and organize a perfect tour according to our needs. He introduced us to Amar who turned out to be a knowledgeable and friendly guide who made the experience unique. Amar has a vast knowledge of the area, he got us involved on a route where history and environment merged. We reached the Upper Mustang up to an altitude of 3840m to enjoy the charm of this landscape on the border with Tibet. We travelled long distances by jeep and reached various small villages where we met the local people and spend time with them.x We ended our journey in the Chitwan National Park and on the last day we met up Tej again for a dinner organized by him in a typical restaurant. We left Nepal with good memories and we’ll certainly participate in other Nepal Alternative Treks & Expeditions projects!xJon Doe & Team

Mera Peak Climb – go on, give it a go!
From the first email to the last hug, I cannot recommend Tej and his team at Nepal Alternative Treks and Expeditions enough! I've just returned from a Mera Peak attempt and can safely say - after 15 years of travelling back and forth to Nepal, that this trip has taken the proverbial cake. Nothing was a bother for Tej - a brain filled with detail and attention and an abundance of knowledge about his team, the regions and how best to cater the trip for his clients. Despite the weather having other plans for us - the climb/trek was a complete success, not just on a personal level, but thanks to planning, fantastic support from my trekking guide Ugal and climbing guide Gyalje, the porters, chefs and each village we stopped at. We were some of the first to open the trails for the season, so it was super quite and peaceful during our walks. We went up in sunshine and blue skies and came down in some of the most incredible snow i've seen in a long time. Not once did I think my safety was a concern - despite falling off Mera La at 5500m and maybe even into a cheeky crevasse at one point. The food on trail was delicious and hygenic. The tea houses were comfy and warm and so very welcoming. I've never had the comfort of a heated blanket at 5000m in all my travels to Nepal - but Refuge Mera at Khare has you covered - some of the best, well-rested nights of my life, which is an achievement at altitude. A last minute decision by me meant plans down the line needed changing - which was a non-issue and done without any hassles, and everyone involved was supportive and excited to participate. I ended up travelling as a solo female when our second member had to cal last minute - and i was treated with such respect and dignity, as I have been during all my travel to Nepal. Again, Tej and his team of experts were fantastic and I highly recommend if you're planning a trip to Nepal to get in touch and see what they have to offer.Erin Hosking

Mear Peak !
"Trekking through the Himalayas is a magical adventure that everyone should experience. We wanted to explore a quieter, higher and more technical region than Everest Base Camp - Mera Peak was the perfect challenge. We also wanted to work with a local Nepalese company so that any money we spent went directly to the community. After a thorough "Google" search, we came across Tej at Nepal Alternative Treks. He communicated quickly and efficiently with us via email to arrange our trip, from start to finish, and easily answered all our questions. Our trek guide, Nauser, is a credit to the company. We were very lucky to have such a fun, organised and knowledgeable guide with a permanent smile on his face! Thank you team :)."Maria Bentley

Historical temple was informative and gave insight into Nepal history !
Guides were pleasant, knowledgeable & fantastic. The car trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara was amazing. Sun rise from Sarangkot was unbelievable, cave and temple was interesting. Visiting to Durbar Squares and historical temple was informative and gave insight into Nepal history. The visit to the rain god was wow and helped to explain the people’s livings and dependency on nature. The women enjoyed shopping for Nepalese items. Thanks so much Tej Nepal alternative director, Sarita female tour guide in Kathmandu and Dillip for taking us to Pokhara and Sarangkot. See you next time soon !Elmer Stone

Most important is to share the silence of nature for me !
I really enjoyed during this short trekking to Chisapani- Nagarkot. The guide “Thal” is very kind and experienced. This is very good because most important thing is to share the silence of nature for me!!! The most beautiful part of this trip has been the Jungle part after Chisapani. Nobody was there, only me, the guide and the nature. The hotels were very simple in Chisapani but food was really good. Thanks a lot for your cooperation.Christiano Botti

Tej put together a great itinerary considering my stay was so short !
I had a great trip over my 5 days in Nepal. Only regret was that It went my so quickly and that I am not able to stay for longer. My guide Dilip shrestha was awesome and I highly recommend him for anyone else planning a trekking adventure in Nepal. Tej put together a great itinerary considering my stay was so short. All my emails and correspondence with Nepal alternative treks went very smoothly and professionally and all my questions were answered promptly and with all the information required. I had an amazing trip thanks in large part to Dilip and Nepal alternative trek; nothing but good things to say. Cheers, KunalKunal Pinto

3 Weeks Personal Retreat
"Nepal Alternative Trek addressed my needs according to my schedule and agenda. I stayed most of the time at his home-stay, shuttling between home and the places that I wanted to visit. Tej, the boss behind Nepal Alternative Trek, helped to make my stay in Kathmandu comfortable and productive. He walked me to the monasteries that I wanted to visit and even picked me up when I needed a ride back home. The home-stay is hosted by his wife and I got to experience living with a Nepalese family, sharing their food, space and laughter. For the home-stay: 1) Meals available upon request 2) Family get together and chats 3) Regular change of bed-sheets and towels 4) Free WIFI 5) Near Swayambhu and Thamel 6) Safe environment 7) Mountainous forest behind home 8) Walking distance to beautiful monasteries 9) Away from hustle and bustle of towns yet easy to get to town I left the home-stay with a smile. All the best, Richard Singapore"Richard O

Australian Camp + Dhampus + Sarangkot Trek !
We went on a trip to Nepal and as we were a bit short on time we decided on a 3 day day trek that was suitable for us as we are not the the fittest people. Tej from Nepal Alternative Treks & Expeditions has helped us plan the itinerary and he and his team were amazing and very helpfull throughout. We have decided to go with this company due to Tej's itinerary recommendation, fast response and competitive pricing. From the arrival to Kathmandu Tej has been amazing with helping us organise ourselves. Tej and his team have organised everything for us. From the airport pick up, sim card, driver for sightseeing to bus tickets to Pokhara and a tour guide Laxman who was very professional, experienced and great on our 3 day trek. The trek itself was great for beginners and we got to experience amazing views of Annapurna from Australian Camp then a beautiful trek through forest and villages to Dhampus and then onto Sarangkot with another amazing views and sunrise. We would greatly recommend Tej and his team at Nepal Treks & Expeditions as service and help received was beyond impressive. They are all very friendly, helpful and their English is very good.Neya
