One of the biggest stupas in the world, Boudhanath Stupa is a significant place of pilgrimage for Tibetan Buddhists. There are numerous Tibetan monasteries and gift shops located close to the stupa.

Swayambhunath Stupa

Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known as the Monkey Temple, is perched atop a hill in the western portion of Kathmandu.
