We joined the trekking with Ram, our porter-cum-guide, at ABC in late September 2024. Originally we planned to do the trek in 6 days and Tej whom we contacted initially kindly prepared and offered us a custom package which we accepted. On the second morning of our journey we conceded that our pace was too slow and we decided to make it a 7-day trekking. Ram was very accommodating and helped us to make an informed decision fine tweaking the subsequent improvised itinerary. Ram was very polite, diligent and patient with us. Though he still has room to improve on his English we communicated with him just fine and he managed a joke or two along the way. He also secured us lovely rooms with a view / rooms self-contained with bathroom whenever he could. Tej and Ram will definitely be on our minds next time we come to Nepal to trek again.
