I did the Poon Hill trek with Kumar who was friendly, accommodating of my pace, and knowledgeable. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and the hiking was amazing. The only negative I would say is that I felt like it ended too soon and wished I’d gone for a longer hike. The value for money is absolutely mind-blowing, and although the accommodation you stay in along the way is pretty bare-bones, it’s all just part of the experience and when you’re up in those mountain villages there is no luxury available! I definitely will be going back for more hiking after this experience.
