“Last Dec was my 2nd winter trek in Nepal Himalaya in which I planned for a 13 days trek to Tilicho Lake & crossing Thorong La.
I have used NAT&E to arrange for porter-guide & my flight tickets back from Jomsom.
Everything went well. Thanks to the hospitality of Tej & Lal Gurung!! Especially in assisting my return from Jomsom to Kathmandu after all flights were cancelled following heavy snowing. We had indeed decided to trek down the mountain & took a jeep. Though I still missed my flight back to my country. Thank you!
If I’d recommend few opportunities for improvement, I’d be glab to list the below…
– as the snowing around Manang was heavy before my trip & Tilicho was known to be closed for trekking already. I thought it would be appropriate to inform the client in advance so that plan change be changed to maximize the trekking experince.
– The USD100 charge of taxi from Pokhara to Kathmandu seemed to be really steep to replace the flight mode which was originally planned.
Apart from these, I’d say NAT&E had been a great agent to facilitate any trekking holidays in Nepal.
I’d recommend to anyone who is looking for some help to plan for a trip to Nepal.
