Background
The Khopra Danda Muldai View Point trek is a great alternative to Ghorepani Poon hill trek, taking you higher still to another great viewpoint of the Annapurnas. If you’re looking for the perfect week-long trek, a little off-the-beaten-path and with great views, this trek is a great choice. It combines the best of what Nepal has to offer: amazing mountain views, pastoral villages, and rice fields layered on top of each other, descending down into the valley. The best part is that so few people know about it. Poon hill, Khayer Barahi Temple or Khayer Lake, Narchyang village, and Ghandruk village are the major attractions of this trek. Khopra Ridge offers breathtaking views of Mt Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, and Dhampus Peak as well as one of the most spectacular valleys on the Kali Gandaki River can be seen from this trek.
