Early Life & Background
Laxman was born and raised in Chalish, a beautiful Gurung village in the heart of Ruby Valley, Dhading, approximately 120 kilometers northwest of Kathmandu in the Ganesh Himal region. After completing his School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination at the age of 16, he moved to Kathmandu to pursue higher education and completed +2 (Higher Secondary) from Mukrap Devi Secondary School, Dhading, Nepal.
Trekking Career Journey
Laxman started his trekking career as a porter in 2015. In 2016, he became a trekking guide and has continued guiding on trekking routes in Nepal since then.
Professional Training & Certifications
Laxman successfully completed Trekking Guide Training (Full Course) conducted from March 26, 2018 to April 9, 2018 by the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
