Last-Minute Booking for Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Our 10-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek package is ideal for exploring the Annapurna region. Similarly, it is also best for your last-minute booking for Annapurna Base Camp. It is the best way to explore the beauty and hospitality of the Annapurna Region. 

Your journey will begin once you arrive in Pokhara. You will have to walk 5 to 7 hours a day on average on your ABC Trek. Here is a breakdown of our 10-day Annapurna Base Camp itinerary:

For day 1, you will drive to Sudame (1,350 meters) from Pokhara. It is a 2 hours jeep drive through Baglung Highway. After arriving at Sudame, you will embark on your trek journey. You will pass by Hile and Tikhedhunga village alongside the terraced fields. Then, you will slowly start to climb uphill to Ulleri and reach Banthanti (2,100 meters). Your day’s trek will end here. 

On day 2, your destination is Ghorepani situated at an elevation of 2,800 meters. The trail goes through the forests of rhododendrons. You will head towards Nangethanti. Then, you will descend continuously for an hour and a half before reaching Ghorepani. The majority of the locals belong to the Magar community. Likewise, you will be greeted with stunning views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Annapurna. You will stay overnight at Ghorepani.

On day 3, you will take an early morning hike to the Poon Hill View Tower (3,193 meters). It takes around an hour to get to the view tower from Ghorepani. The route to the Poonhill view tower is made of stone staircases. The staircases again go through rhododendron forests. On reaching the top, you can witness one of the most beautiful sunrises. Moreover, you can get a panoramic view of Mount Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Himchuli, and many more. You will head back to Ghorepani before setting off to Tadapani (2,650 meters). The day’s trek ends at Tadapani village.

For day 4, you will head towards the northeast of Tadapani village. The trail again goes through rhododendron forests. The trail drops as you reach Chiule village. But it will again start moving up through Ghurjung village and towards Chhomrong (2,130 meters). After a brief trek along the exposed ridge that overlooks Machhapuchhre, you will arrive at Chhomorong village. You will stay overnight at Chhomorong village’s lodge. 

On day 5, you will head towards Bamboo village (2,300 meters). You will climb downhill towards Chhomrong Khola. The trail starts to go uphill as you get closer towards Sinuwa village. The rhododendron forest scenery gradually changes into bamboo forest. The trail is filled with dense bamboo forests. Then, you will arrive at the Bamboo village which lies amidst the bamboo forests. 

Day 6’s trail will again require you to walk through the bamboo forests. You will trek towards Dovan. You will slowly start climbing uphill through rocky paths. Similarly, you will trek towards an exposed ridge and then alongside the stunning glacial Modi River. Before you reach Deurali (3,200 meters), you can take a detour to the Hinku River. You will stay overnight at Deurali.  

Day 7  it is time to trek uphill. Your destination is the Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 meters). After leaving Deurali, you will ascend alongside the Modi River. You will walk among the pristine alpine shrubs. You will then reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp. It is situated at an elevation of 3,700 meters. Then, you will set off on a scenic hour-long trek on rocky paths. Finally, you will reach the Annapurna Base Camp. Get to see Mount Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges up close. You will camp out at the base camp. 

On day 8, after exploring the Annapurna Base Camp, it’s time to head back. Witness the gorgeous views of the mountains before heading towards Memorial Chorten. Then, you will trek back to Deurali. You will continue to climb downhill. Along the way, you will pass by the villages of Himalaya and Dovan. Then after reaching Bamboo, you will spend a night there. 

On day 9, you will leave Bamboo village and trek towards Sinuwa village. Similarly, you will continue your trek towards Chhomrong village. From Chhomorong you will walk towards an exposed ridge towards the Jhinu Danda (1,600 meters). The village is renowned for its hot spring. You will stay here overnight and take a dip in the hot spring to relax your tired body. 

On day 10, you will trek towards Samrung (1,500 meters) leaving Jhinu Danda. It takes around 20 minutes through the rhododendron forest before you arrive at Nayapul. From Nayapul, you will catch a jeep. You will head back to Pokhara. Your trek will come to an end after reaching Pokhara.
