Ritika Gurung is from Chalish village in Rubi Valley Rural Municipality, Dhading. She was born on October 26, 1997 and grew up in her home village. She has been living in Kathmandu since 2009. She completed her SLC (Grade 10) and is a friendly, fluent English-speaking female guide with good knowledge of local ethnic and indigenous cultures.
Trekking Career
Ritika started her trekking career as a porter from 2016 to 2019. She became an official tourist guide in 2022. Over the years, she has guided groups in different Himalayan regions and has good records with past groups.
Training & Certifications
She completed Porter Training in 2016 and Guide Training in 2020.
Trekking Regions
She has guided in the Everest Region, Annapurna Circuit, Manaslu Region, Rubi Valley, and Langtang Region.
Favorite Trekking Routes
Her favorite region to guide is the Manaslu Region. She enjoys taking travelers through the trails and sharing mountain life, culture, and local traditions along the way.
